Vedic lifestyle
RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat urged people to adopt a Vedic lifestyle, stating that the rise of ‘Sanatan Dharma’ has begun and the world’s perception of it is changing. He emphasized that the Vedas offer valuable lessons for both material and spiritual life. Bhagwat encouraged everyone to read and apply the teachings of the Vedas, and share them with others for mutual benefit.
During an event where the third edition of a Hindi commentary on the Vedas by Shripad Damodar Satvalekar was launched, Bhagwat mentioned that Yogi Arvind had predicted the rise of Sanatan Dharma, and the publication of the Hindi commentary serves as a sign of this.
Bhagwat explained that the Vedas, the foundation of religion, teach that the world is one and divisions are temporary. He emphasized that dharma unites, uplifts, and guides people to success, and is the cornerstone of life.
He further elaborated that life is balanced when the body, mind, intellect, and soul are in harmony, and dharma provides this balance, leading to liberation. Bhagwat also highlighted that the Vedas contain vast knowledge, including foundational principles behind modern technologies, and even mentioned that the distance between the earth and the sun and the time taken by sunlight to reach us were mentioned in the Vedas thousands of years ago, indicating the presence of mathematical concepts in the Vedas.
